OAS impact, NFP

Omicron Alpha Sigma Chapter is an entity of the larger organization of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. From its inception, the Fraternity’s primary mission has been focused on recruiting college educated, professional men who are passionate about serving their respective communities and the larger global community.

While the Chapter is governed by a Board of Elected Officials, the OAS IMPACT, NFP is governed by a separate Board of Directors.

 

Direct donations to the Chapter may not be tax deductible. However, donations and gifts made to the Foundation are tax deductible. The OAS IMPACT, NFP exists specifically to promote charitable and educational causes and is a recognized 501(c)(3) entity. Your donations and support help us effectively administer programs and opportunities to serve our community. Securing charitable contributions, gifts, and other funds to award scholarships, promote health information, provide financial relief to people going through hardship, and small grants allow the Chapter and Foundation to significantly advance their respective mission.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

 

Founded in 2019, the Omicron Alpha Sigma Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational tax-exempt organization. The name was changed in 2025 to OAS, IMPACT, NFP. The Foundation’s primary mission is to procure and manage resources for educational, leadership, and philanthropic programs, including those of Omicron Alpha Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. It seeks to assist individuals of the south suburban communities of Chicago.

FOUNDATION OR FRATERNITY?

​

OAS IMPACT, NFP has been established to provide financial support for programs initiated by Omicron Alpha Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. The Foundation is chiefly concerned with encouraging individuals and entities to provide financial support toward the success of the Chapter’s programs and initiatives.

​

As a team, the Chapter and the OAS IMPACT, NFP are seriously devoted to promoting education and personal growth, developing leadership, and caring for our communities and members.

​

We execute the Foundation’s mission through:

  • Managing gifts and other donations given to promote Omicron Alpha Sigma’s programs

  • Conducting fundraising campaigns

  • Sharing our successes through annual reports and other means

  • Promoting public awareness of the Foundation
